OFFICIAL RULES FOR CRAYOLA "THANK A TEACHER" PROMOTION

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. MANY WILL ENTER, FEW WILL WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. The Crayola "Thank a Teacher" Promotion ("Promotion") begins 12:00 AM Eastern Time ("ET") July 1, 2018, and ends 11:59 PM ET, August 25, 2018 ("Promotion Period"). Individuals will be able to pre-register for the Promotion prior to the Promotion Period between 12:00 AM ET on May 8, 2018, and 11:59 PM ET, on June 30, 2018 ("Pre-Registration Period"). The Promotion consists of two (2) programs: a) the "Thank a Teacher" Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes"); and b) the "Thank a Teacher" Contest ("Contest"). Participants can enter both by using the methods of entry described below. Participants are able to enter the Sweepstakes by nominating a teacher (the "Nominee") without submitting a thank you message for entry into the Contest. The Promotion will be divided into eight (8) weekly entry periods (each an "Entry Period", as outlined in the chart in Section 4 below).

2. Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 13 years of age or older at the time of entry. A MINOR SHOULD HAVE HIS/HER PARENT'S OR LEGAL GUARDIAN'S PERMISSION TO ENTER. Void where prohibited by law.

3. Employees of Crayola L.L.C. ("Sponsor"), Trymark Consulting Group, L.L.C., and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, retailers, distributors and suppliers, and the immediate families (spouse, parents, children and siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and individuals living in the same households of such employees, whether or not related, are ineligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law. Subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

PRE-REGISTRATION: During the Pre-Registration Period, you may visit http://www.crayola.com/ThankATeacher and follow the instructions provided to complete the online form and upload an original photo of your thank you message to your Nominee (i.e., a current teacher of yours). Your thank you message may then appear in the Crayola gallery at http://www.crayola.com/ThankATeacher shortly after upload (and after review by Sponsor for compliance with the Gallery Participation Guidelines). Then, you can expect to receive an email from Sponsor shortly after the start of the Promotion Period where you must follow the instructions in the email to review the previously completed online form and thank you message and click "submit" to receive one (1) entry in the Sweepstakes and one (1) entry in the Contest. Pre-Registration online forms and thank you messages will not be considered for Sweepstakes or Contest entry if the instructions specified in the email provided by Sponsor are not completed.

SWEEPSTAKES: To enter the Sweepstakes during the Promotion Period, go to http://www.crayola.com/ThankATeacher and enter your date of birth. Then, complete and submit the entry form by providing your first and last name (the "Nominator"), your phone number (including area code), e-mail address, your relationship to the Nominee (i.e., a current teacher of yours) and provide your Nominee's first and last name, e-mail address (if available), Nominee's school name of employment, school's city and school's state. Nominator should have Nominee's permission in order to nominate them for a chance to win a Sweepstakes prize. The Nominee must be an active, full or part-time teacher employed at a public, private or charter school at the elementary, middle, junior or high school level within the 50 US & DC. The Nominator and Nominee cannot be the same person. Limit ten (10) Sweepstakes entries per person, per e-mail address, per Entry Period. If entries are received in excess of the stated limitation from any person or e-mail address during any Entry Period, only the first ten (10) entries received will be eligible for entry in that Entry Period. Submission of erroneous or incomplete personal information will void the entry. All entries, whether or not selected as a winner, become the property of the Sponsor (as defined below) and will not be acknowledged or returned. Should multiple users of the same e-mail account enter the Sweepstakes and a dispute thereafter arises regarding the identity of the entrant, the authorized account subscriber or authorized account holder of said e-mail account at the time of entry will be considered the entrant and required to comply with these Official Rules and all requirements set forth herein. "Authorized account subscriber" is defined as the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization, which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Use of any automated system and use of any other devices to subvert the entry process to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification (and all associated entries will be void).

If a potential winner is contacted by phone, Sponsor will make one (1) attempt to leave one (1) message. In the event that any e-mail to a potential winner is returned as undeliverable, any phone number provided by a potential winner is incorrect or no longer in service, a response to any given e-mail or phone call/message is not received within three (3) business days of date of its issuance or a potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize may be forfeited and, at Sponsor's discretion, an alternate winner may be selected. Each Nominator and Nominee will be required to sign and return to Sponsor an affidavit of eligibility and a liability release and, where legal, a publicity release within five (5) days of date of issuance of those documents. Failure for the Nominator and the Nominee to both return the required affidavit of eligibility and a liability release within the specified period will result in the disqualification of the selected potential winning Nominator and Nominee and, at Sponsor's discretion, an alternate potential winning Nominator and Nominee may be selected for the applicable drawing. If any winning Nominator is a minor or at least eighteen (18) but still considered a minor in his/her state of residence, prize may be awarded in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian who will be required to comply with all requirements imposed on winners set forth herein. In the event a potential winner, Nominator or Nominee, is not in compliance with these Official Rules or a prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, the prize package may be forfeited and, at Sponsor's discretion, an alternate winner may be selected.

8. Judging: All eligible Contest entries received during the Promotion Period will be judged by a panel of qualified judges selected by Sponsor. There will be two (2) tiers of judging:

First Tier: All eligible Contest entries received during the Promotion Period will be judged based on the following criteria to determine the top one-hundred (100) entries, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules:

  1. Represents the core Crayola themes of creativity, originality, inspiration and discovery (50%)
  2. Image quality (50%)

In the event of a tie, an additional, "tie-breaking" judge will determine the entry/entries which will proceed to the Second Tier based on the above stated criteria. Sponsor reserves the right to select fewer than twenty-five (25) entries to advance to the Second Tier, if, in its sole discretion, it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified entries.

Second Tier: The top one-hundred (100) entries will then be judged by a separate panel of qualified judges selected by Sponsor as follows to determine the one (1) Grand Prize winner and nine (9) Finalist Winners:

  1. Represents the core Crayola themes of creativity, originality, inspiration and discovery (50%)
  2. Image quality (50%)

Based on the judging criteria set forth above, the one (1) entry with the highest overall score will be deemed the Grand Prize winner. The next nine (9) highest scoring entries will be deemed Finalist Winners, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. In the event of a tie, an additional, "tie-breaking" judge will determine the Grand Prize winner, based on the above stated criteria. Decisions of judges are final and binding. Sponsor reserves the right to not award all prizes if, in its sole discretion, it determines it has not received a sufficient number of qualified eligible entries.

Contest Winner Notifications/Requirements: Potential winners (Nominators, their Nominees and the Nominee's school) will be notified by phone and/or e-mail on or about September 17, 2018 and will be required to respond within three (3) business days of date of issuance. If a potential winning Nominator, Nominee or Nominee's school is contacted by phone, Sponsor will make one (1) attempt to leave one (1) message. In the event that any e-mail to a potential winning Nominator, Nominee or Nominee's school is returned as undeliverable, any phone number provided by a potential winning Nominator, Nominee or Nominee's school is incorrect or no longer in service, a response to any given e-mail or phone call/message is not received within three (3) business days of date of its issuance or a potential winning Nominator or Nominee is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize may be forfeited and, at Sponsor's discretion, the next runner up may be selected. Each Nominator, Nominee and Nominee's school will be required to sign and return to Sponsor an affidavit of eligibility and a liability release and, where legal, a publicity release within five (5) days of date of issuance of those documents. Failure for the Nominator, the Nominee, and the Nominee's school to all return the affidavit of eligibility and a liability release within the specified period will result in the disqualification of the selected potential winning Nominator and Nominee and, at Sponsor's discretion, the next highest scoring entry may be selected. If any winning Nominator is a minor or at least eighteen (18) but still considered a minor in his/her state of residence, Nominator portion of prize may be awarded in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian who will be required to comply with all requirements imposed on winners set forth herein. In the event a potential winning Nominator, Nominee or Nominee's school is not in compliance with these Official Rules or a prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, the prize may be forfeited and, at Sponsor's discretion, the next runner up may be selected. In addition, an authorized officer of the Nominee's school in which Nominee is employed will be notified and required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility/liability and, unless prohibited, a publicity release form within five (5) business days of date of issuance. Acceptance of prize by Nominee's School constitutes permission for Sponsor and its designees to use school's name, image, trademarks and/or logos, and/or biographical material for purposes of advertising, promotional and other purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world for a period of two (2) years from the conclusion of the Contest, without further compensation, notification or permission unless prohibited by law.
